Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland Experience

I went to MOCA Saturday for a school project.  MOCA hasn't moved to it's new location so it's currently located on the 2nd floor of the Playhouse Square on Carnegie Ave.  There's a huge parking lot but the drive is taped up and cones obstructing the entrance.  I asked one of the valet attendants if there's a way in the lot, they said to drive between the cones.  Oh. The space before the entrance to the museum is colorful and bold.  Walked into a spacious room - white walls, hardwood floors and high ceilings.  I paid admission at the front desk and strolled around the museum floor.  I looked at everything - placements of every object,  art,  activities, videos of artists' works,  "guards", and space between works.  I've uploaded photos of the museum to visually see what I saw.   I've been to many museums and this is first time I've looked at museums in a different way.  Growing up,  I pictured museums a place for elderly people to walk around and talk about art.  Museum is not about just art, it's the experience that visitors enjoy.  MOCA is an excellent example of an organization that implements ways that give the best learning experience.  MOCA incorporates different ways to educate the visitor.  A visitor can use to dial in number that explains about a certain work.  A visitor can walk up to "guards" for assistance.  A visitor can read about artists' works or watch videos.  There are computer stations so you can visit MOCA's site, follow on twitter, or become a fan on Facebook.  I am impressed by how everything is placed and many ways the visitor interacts with art.  MOCA fully integrates  and commits to learning.  This experience has made me wonder if I will get the same experience from another museum.  To go further, can other activities be just as stimulating and vivid? Also, if they are lacking in full development how can it be replaced with a improved product or service? We shall see soon.
